Education and Nutrition in Togo

For over 20 years our executives have supported educational outreaches in Togo, West Africa. We co-founded and continue to support two elementary schools in the mountainous region of Kpalime. Our students consistently score in the highest percentiles on national achievement tests and many have gone on to rewarding careers in business, education and government..

Our newest school is located in the rapidly growing muslim section of the city. We are in the process of completing a new structure to improve the learning environment for those students.

Because students require good nutrition to succeed in school we offer free breakfast for the many orphans and disadvantaged children that we serve. For some of the children, this will be their only meal for the day. Providing high quality free education to disadvantaged students is the greatest service we provide.

Our main auditorium is used for adult training sessions, graduations, and other functions hosted by organizations in the area.

In the past we have partnered with local faith-based organizations to provide funding for feeding prisoners at the main penitentiary in Lome. Prisoners without family support from outside often struggle to meet daily nutritional needs. On one occasion our director Stephen Molling was invited to tour the facility and was allowed to give an Upward Vision motivational message to the prison population.

In the future we hope to partner with government and non-government organizations to provide work force development training to young men and women in the country.
